Raasta (raasta.eu) helps people moving to Sweden find checked information. This page explains which personal data we handle, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who is responsible

Raasta is run from Sweden. Questions about your data: hello@raasta.eu.

What we collect

Waitlist: your email address and, only if you choose to tell us, where you are moving from and who is moving with you. We also keep the page where you signed up and when you confirmed.

Feedback on guides: your answer and message. We do not ask for your name or email with feedback, so please do not include personal details.

Server logs: like every website, our server briefly records IP addresses and browser details to keep the site secure. These logs are deleted after about two weeks.

In your browser only: if you tell a guide which country you are applying from, that choice stays in your browser. It is not sent to us.

Why, and on what legal basis

Waitlist emails: your consent, which you confirm by clicking the link in our first email (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

Feedback and server logs: our legitimate interest in keeping guides correct and the site secure (Article 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep it

Unconfirmed waitlist addresses are deleted after 7 days. Confirmed addresses are kept until you leave the list or we close it. The link in every email deletes your address straight away.

Who handles it for us

Hostinger runs our server, in Vilnius, Lithuania (EU).

Resend sends our emails. Resend is based in the United States; transfers outside the EU are covered by its data processing agreement.

Cloudflare stores the images in our guides, in the EU. No personal data is stored there.

Cookies

We use no tracking or advertising cookies. Editors who sign in to manage content get a cookie that keeps them signed in.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@raasta.eu.
